Large Festival Deployments

Out in the small town of Northam in the Limpopo, providing wireless Internet access to festival goers at South Africa’s largest music festival is no easy feat. In partnership with Redbull Mobile and Plankton.mobi, we developed and delivered an end-to-end high capacity solution for the 20 000 person festival. Serving wireless Internet access in front of the James Philip Stage, as well as the grassy area next to the stage where many attendees spend time relaxing under the trees, Quick Connect deployed a high-density wireless network. Integrating with Facebook and Plankton authentication, we aided in linking users cashless cards to their social identity.
